Care to guess when the last time a Federal Budget has been passed?
Why won’t the Democrats propose a budget?
Could it be:

We all know how to mitigate risks. We do it everyday in our everyday life.
We drive a car to work, or to school or to a bus stop. Or we walk. Across a street or next to one.
We swim.
Or buy a gun.
We know, as rational people, what our risks are. And we are remarkable at acting in such a way, as a group, that our risks are minimized while our rewards are maximized.
We all do this. All. Of. Us.
So don’t think for a second that business owners don’t do this as well.

A million miles a day. A ton of people a minute. Crisis after crisis.
I get it. A man gets tired and is often not at his best.
But this is England. And she is the Queen. And he should know better.
He didn’t.
And the sad part? It’s not his fault. Any more than it’s the fault of a relief pitcher playing linebacker when his coach asks him.
Obama’s not a President; he’s a court fool to the rest of the world.

Zuckerberg. Facebook. Obama. Taxes.
When you’re “cool with that” make sure you’re really REALLY cool with that.
Cause if you ain’t, life is a bitch!
California SB 242, proposed by Sen. Ellen Corbett, would force social networks like Facebook to allow parents access to their child’s account(s) and, more importantly, force all privacy settings to their maximum level by default. Parents can request that images or text be removed from any social network page “upon request … within 48 hours upon his or her request.”
Here’s the interesting part: any social network failing to perform these duties will get hit with a $10K fine per incident.
LOL. I mean; LMFAO!
10k a pop. Can you imagine what the folks at facebook.com are thinking as they read this news?
The details are incredible. The chance of fraud unreal.
I just hope that Facebook can learn a valuable lesson here.
When you deal in the gutter with Liberal Leftists, expect those Liberal Leftists to ACT like Liberal Leftists!

10k
$10,000
10,000 clams
per “clam”.
Go ahead Zuck, tell me how “cool with that” you are now!

Fascinating website out there. A clearing house for all things fun. intrade.com
I enjoy watching this one. A perfect example of a boom and bust. A bubble growing and then correcting.
Note the downward path of the price of Obama Winning in 2012 starting in March of this year. Then, the “bubble” where Obama took out Osama bin Laden.
Then the correction.
Free markets baby, the free market!
Hat Tip: Mark Perry at Carpe Diem
UPDATE:
Here is another look at the same bubble from Rasmussen: His polling is 3 days behind due to how he computes polling.

THIS is a great question.
After pushing the official on the fact that we obtained information that led to the death of Osama bin Laden through enhanced interrogation techniques INCLUDING waterboarding, the question was posed:
Why is shooting an unarmed man in the face legal and proper while enhanced interrogation including water boarding of a detainee under very strict controls and limits; why is that over the line?
The fun starts at 1:58
In short, the answer is that Obama has no answer.
The Left has no answer.
Rather, they come back and say, “Well, that’s not us; that’s not who we are.”
But it is. We raise men in this manner. It IS who we are. And I’m glad it’s who we are.
Jeepers.
We all wanna compare; we wanna know. How is one team vs. another? How am I compared to my peers? So, it’s only natural that we do the same thing for the economy and how we’re managing our way out of it.
So. How is Mr. Obama doing?
Well, let’s look.

Marbles – Huevos
Whatever language you choose, the meaning is the same:
I am no fan of Obama. And I don’t think it took extraordinary strategery to know you have to take out Bin Laden. But what DOES impress me is having the MARBLES to sit and watch the thing in real time:
Look at Hillary Clinton for real time reaction to a man being shot in the head.
Dude.
Marbles.

Or, Republicans Can Be Leftists Too!
We all want to what we think is the best for the folks under our care; at least I HOPE that’s what we wanna do. Now, I understand that at the margin, there are politicians that do enter the system and play the game for the sole purpose of enriching themselves, either with power or money–or both.
By and large, however, I think they play the game in an effort to serve well.
And often times serving well means, or can mean, parenting.
Prepare yourselves for the Shock and Awe Obama style that is certain to come this week.
Prepare yourself for a message and bombardment of populist bullshit the likes you haven’t seen in a long time.
High gas prices.
Election season right around the corner.
A fading President.
All perfect ingredients.
