It continues to continue.
Each and every day we hear from Washing that we hate banks and business. And look, there’s a lot to hate. When it comes to shady deals and crooked crooks, banks and Wall Street are full of ’em. We all want ’em gone.
But serious. If you’re gonna call out greedy crooks, you should make sure you call out ALL greedy crooks.

I don’t think there’s anyone alive who would dispute the damage that’s gonna be inflicted on the Gulf Coast. It really is gonna mess things up down there for quite some time. I remain convinced that the costs of drilling are no where near the benefits of drilling.
One of the downsides to being right all the time is that the burden to continue to be right is hard to bear. With a batting average at 1.000, it can be difficult to handle the pressure each day. And to make it especially hard is having to support positions that strike pretty close to my heart.

This morning I was driving to work and had the radio tuned to WZTK. Brad and Britt are the morning talent. The discussion during the segment I caught was “Cash for Appliance Clunkers”. Apparently I missed the lead up ’cause Brad was all worked up over the fact that folks were callin’ him out for taking advantage of the program. I kinda resonate with that fact, I mean serious, if you have a 20-year-old freezer and you claim to be concerned about the environment, why is it you will only replace your nasty old hardware when I pay for it?
Anyway, the conversation turned to the other “Cash for…” program, the infamous “Cash for Clunkers”.

It would seem that elected officials in Boston aren’t satisfied with altering the laws of men; they also would like to change the laws of nature. And stuff. So I offer them this unsolicited advice:

North Carolina had her primaries yesterday. While there were many races, I was really only concerned with one: District 4. This race featured BJ Lawson and Frank Roche. Both candidates are strong and I would be happy with either one. However, I was pulling for Mr. Lawson to pull it out. And he did:
District 4 Primary
We now have until November to get him packing for Washington.
However, there are several other races that have my interest too:
2nd District: Seat held by Bob Etheridge
4th District: Seat held by David Price
13th District: Seat held by Brad Miller
There are other seats held by Democrats, but many of those representatives have a more conservative vein in ’em and really, I would rather focus on the largest of the Leftists.
Let’s see what we can do to get these guys out of office!
