I tend to think that this birth certificate nonsense is a waste of time. I’m sure that Obama is a citizen and that he was born in Hawaii. Further, if he DID present his long form certificate, the right wing-nuts would go crazy trying to prove that IT was a fake and a forgery.
It will be hard to put this whole thing to rest.
Heck, people still think we didn’t land on the moon.
But it certainly is fun. So let’s see:
The benefits of youth! See, when you’re young, there is no foul-you’re young! Only be becoming old do you gain the sufficient life knowledge to enable you to see things differently.
There is a certain truth in the old quote:
If you aren’t Liberal in your 20’s, you have no heart. If you aren’t conservative in your 40’s, you have no head.
With all that said, college kids get it, they just can’t believe it.

I’ve been traveling as of late. Work has been especially demanding these last few weeks and I’m adjusting to a new schedule and responsibilities.
On the upside, a colleague of mine that I met on a recent trip commented that he thought I looked like this:

My wife would disagree.

Thomas Johnson, of Gardner, and Seth Davis, of Winchendon, fell out of a bathroom window on the bus and onto the highway. Johnson was killed at the scene, while Davis remains in critical condition at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester.The bus, run by Colonial Tours of Boston, was returning from the Red Hook Brewery in Portsmouth N.H. and was on its way to Gardner, Mass.

A friend of mine from the Way Back Machine tipped me off to a critique of Barack Obama from a body language perspective. It’s a fascinating reflection on how President Obama speaks rather that on what he speaks about.
Every now and then I mention that Obama is our first American Idol President. That he won the election not so much on substance but on showmanship. Fun to see that I may not be alone in this query.

For a long LONG time, the message has been dominated by the Left. They have all the coolest rock stars and movie stars and funny people.
They play on populist messages like “Power to the people” and “Make love not war”.
