The Walls Have Been Breached and the Inmates are Running the Asylum

Free.  Freedom.  Liberty.

Ever stop to consider what those words mean?

And what “life” would mean without them?

The restriction of freedom or of liberty does not have to mean “prison” or “chains”.  It can also mean overt government involvement in the lives of man:

Between her blog and infrequent contributions to ehow.com, over the last few years she says she’s made about $50. To [Marilyn] Bess, her website is a hobby. To the city of Philadelphia, it’s a potential moneymaker, and the city wants its cut.

Of course they do.  And “cut” is a great word.  It’s not that the City does anything productive; they just pass laws that restrict YOU from doing it.

In May, the city sent Bess a letter demanding that she pay $300, the price of a business privilege license.

Of course they did.

When people realize that they can just legislate theft it should not surprise anyone when they do just that.

  1. August 1st a group of Wisconsin judges, called the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board, passed a law stating that you had to purchase a “liscence” to campaign ($100) if you spent more than $25 on signage, literature, or propaganda in favor of, or against any candidate running for office.
Think about this ……… if you spend more than $25 on an internet connection, and blog, email, or forward ANY message containing a political, opinion, joke, or even just factual information about ANY candidate, or their views, and do not pay the $100 liscensing fee………. oh, and of course regeister with the government (I forgot that part earlier)……………….. YOU CAN BE JAILED!!

    FREE
    FREEDOM
    LIBERTY
These are the things that government is trying to kill.

  2. crazy world all of the sudden isn’t it ;p~
