America’s wealth comes from the efforts of people striving for success.  Take away their incentive with badmouthing success and you take away the wealth that helps us take are of the needy.

  1. I certainly don’t think success should be badmouthed – who would bad mouth success?

  2. I assume you equate suggesting higher taxes for the successful with ‘badmouthing’ their accomplishments. Since Obama wants a piece of the accomplishments, it still doesn’t quite seem like badmouthing. Theft maybe, but badmouthing seems like a non-sequitour.

      There’s that. But in addition to that it’s the way he says it: “Their fair share.”

      It’s as if they aren’t paying their fair share now.
