An Extension Of And Then a Grabbing Of

That darn Mormon continues to pull ahead:

It would appear that the undecideds are deciding.  That, or the republicans that have been on the fence are gaining confidence and moving themselves from “Registered Voter” to “Likely Voter.”

And then the big news:

For the first time, Romney is now ahead in the Electoral Map.

To be sure, we have 20 odd days to go, a debate to digest and another yet to take place.  Much can, and will, happen between now and election day.

But momentum feels good right now.

  1. As they say, tracking polls are for the partisans who want to either freak out if they’re behind, or be thrilled if their ahead. And, of course, cherry picking outliers is a favorite activity of partisans! I could point to the RAND poll that has Obama up six! https://mmicdata.rand.org/alp/index.php?page=election The real story in the polls is that the race is very close: http://scotterb.wordpress.com/2012-polls/

And, of course, intrade still has Obama’s odds of winning at 63%. Still, enjoy it while you can. I suspect we’ll see twists and turns over the next three weeks!

Yup; there are still a ton of reasons to think Obama will win. Further, national polls don’t mean as much as the state ones.

However, I like the trend – Romney Rising.
