Occupy Wall Street: Racism – Zuccotti Park

There is little doubt that the Occupy Wall Street crowd was supposed to be the Democrat, the liberal, answer to the Tea Party.  However, in typical leftist fashion the movement demonstrated that it is undisciplined, unlawful and unruly.

Where the Tea Party was organized the Occupiers are downright chaotic.  Where the Tea Party showed a discipline that resulted in a point, the Occupy is inexplicably pointless.  And where the Tea Party followed the law, the Occupy demonstrates it’s willingness to rape, to steal, to vandalize and to desecrate.

But how about the claims that it is the Occupy that are guilty of the very sin heaped upon the Tea Party?

In typical liberal form, the left attacked the Tea Party as a bunch of racists knobs.  We know this isn’t true, but that doesn’t stop the left from repeating the lie.  But now we have initial, and early, reports that there exists a degree of racism within the Occupy movement itself:

Imagine the amount of press the following story would get if it occurred at a Tea Party event; “If you ever want to see the biggest bunch of a**holes in the world, it’s Occupy Wall Street,” an unidentified man told me. We were in the atrium of 60 Wall Street, a location that Occupy Wall Street uses for meetings especially on evenings such as this past Friday when the weather outside was rainy and cold. The gentleman speaking to me was clearly upset, in his late 30s, neatly dressed and black. He eyed the tables of white Occupiers chowing down nearby. “I brought plates,” he said. “I brought plates free for everyone to eat on and what do they do? They asked me if I’d washed my hands. That’s how they treat us here.”

Imagine indeed.  In fact, the media didn’t need real examples, it was able to make up stories of spitting on Congressman and of racial slurs on a march.  But here, it seems, if this gentleman is right, that we an example of what the left rages against:

Where are the defenders of Occupy who are willing to call out the behavior of their fellow protesters?

  1. Having this discussion over on ROAR right now as well. Some people simply want to continue to ignore all this out of fear of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, asking us to still give them a chance. That’d be nice, but we’re running out of things for them to break. 😉

      It’s a great debate.

Actually, it’s not. These people have left the reservation long ago.

  2. Just watched Megyn Kelly’s segment on Fox. (I love Megyn).

This retired guy tried cutting the strings on the Occupy Tent in DC, and the Occulosers went nuts. He complained about how they’ve destroyed the park, and it’s true – they showed before and after photos, and it’s just disgusting what they’ve done to it. These being the “environmentalists” that they are, they sure don’t seem to care much about the land they walk on.

Compare that to the Tea Party protests and the parks they “occupy.” The park is left cleaner than it was found.

Yep. That’s because Tea Partiers walk their talk and Occupiers are completely f.o.s.. Even with the Tea Partier’s goofy outfits, one still has to respect what they’ve done as a political movement, whether one agrees with them or not. No one can honestly say the same about Occupy without being selectively ignorant or intellectually dishonest.
