For too long, the very institution on the spear’s tip of delivering liberty to us all has been suffering from the restriction of that very liberty.
This year, the United States of America righted a wrong and rescinded the prohibition of gays serving openly in the military.
And it’s long passed time.
We can not consistently stand on principles of Liberty, Justice and Freedom while at the same time withholding that sweet cup from a segment of our population for no other reason that some arbitrary facet of personality offends our sense.
You may not approve of homosexuality. But you can not, simply can not, use it as a reason to deny the basic human rights afforded to us all.
Stand tall America. Once more we have beat back the forces of prejudice and walked away with our Nobility of Self intact!
