Good times. Damn good times.
But let’s hit the Way Back Machine…..
Let’s go back to a time when those fears and hysteria ruled the day and review a story published in the “The Independent”:

Britain’s winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives.
However, the warming is so far manifesting itself more in winters which are less cold than in much hotter summers. According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”.
“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” he said.
LONDON, Dec. 20 (UPI) — London’s Heathrow airport might remain partially paralyzed past Christmas, stranding tens of thousands of passengers, officials said Monday.
Airports in London, Paris and Germany reported canceling dozens of flights as Europe remained in winter’s icy and snowy grip, CNN reported.
Frigid temperatures and extreme conditions have plagued Europe since Saturday, with snow, ice and fog throwing travel plans into chaos from Northern Ireland to Bulgaria. Below-normal temperatures were expected to remain in northern Europe for part of the week, CNN reported.
Only 10 years ago they were calling for snow free winters. The last TWO have been historic, and this one isn’t over yet.
