Son: Dad, wanna go outside and play some catch?
Me: Sure, get your shoes on.
Son: Dad, you can be thrower #7 –> The Viking’s new rookie QB Christian Ponder..
Me: Thanks! Who are you?
Son: Me? I’m Ahmad Rashad.
Me: Wiping away a tear.
Son: Daddy…? What’s wrong?
Me: Nothing son, nothing at all.
You are clearly an awesome father who teaches his children important values!

I remember that great game between the Vikes and the Browns. We’re down big and my brother, sister and I give up; we go see 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea downtown. #28 makes a fantastic catch to win the game in the end zone.
Dammit!
I’ll post it next.
I was watching the game with my dad and my mom pulled up in the driveway with groceries as the play progressed. My dad and I jumped up screaming. My mom dropped the groceries and ran in the house — she thought something horrible was happening, like my dad was having a heart attack. We helped her pick up the groceries. What a game — and I’m a lifetime Tommy Kramer fan, ever since he led the come back against the 49ers may back when Tarkenton was still the starter!
